Carga de chunks

Yo no entiendo como funciona la carga de chunks, si yo estoy en un mundo y pongo la renderizacion a 4 chunks, yo estaría cargando así:

La carga de chunks es con formas poligonales. La opción de renderizado es el radio de ese polígono. 4 Chunks significa que podras ver en una “esfera” de radio 4 o diámetro 8. Aunque a renderizados tan bajos como 4 chunks, no se nota este polígono y parece un simple cuadrado.
